Barley 2008

The harvest is still not over - unsettled weather towards the end of last week and heavy  rain on Monday have held up the final combining. Good weather today and tomorrow should see the remaining barley harvested by Thursday. It looks like the yields are 10% higher than anticipated for the Islay grown harvests. The total harvest looks to be in the region of 2400 tonnes.
