Blowing Your Own Trumpet No. 47

This just in from one whisky trade taster:

"I have been meaning to drop you a note to say that I have done the tasting notes ... and tasted the Bruichladdich (12) and Port Charlotte (PC6) one after the other and what a subliminal experience!! I don't know if they'll use the Port Charlotte notes but it's one of the best examples of peated whisky I've ever tasted and I'm going to get myself a bottle at the earliest opportunity. But then the Bruichladdich - to my shame I don't think I had ever tasted it (and I guess if there were no samples sent to Whisky Mag, how would I?) It was like biting in to a big bowl of fresh yellow fruits, with melon, banana, pineapples and grapefruit. Absolutely fantastic. The distillery deserves the highest praise - malt of sublime quality. "

Well done Jim!
