Mountains of Flavour

The new 18 year old - the second bottling - is leaving the island for the first time. This takes over from the scrumptious first bottling that we ACE'd in Willi Opitz's excellent  casks, originally used for his sweet pudding wines. Sadly it went all to soon. So Jim has come up with a new cuvee; we wanted the same decadent mellowness an fruit, but obviously a slightly different take on it. The Juracon casks have proved ideal. Not only do we have the american oak vanilla, the French oak taosed butter, and the rich mellowness - but also a delicate hint of tropical fruit. The result is  frighteningly alluring.
